年収700万〜1,400万円が目安で、外資SaaS・AI企業のシニアSEはインセンティブ込みで1,800万円超も珍しくありません。受注に貢献する職種のため、成果連動報酬の比率が比較的大きい傾向があります。
SEは商談・提案・PoCフェーズが主戦場、FDEは受注後の本番実装・運用定着まで深く入り込むのが主戦場です。両者は連続しており、SEからFDEへ、またはその逆のキャリア移動も活発です。企業によっては両者を兼務する組織もあります。
プロダクトの技術理解、デモ・PoC構築力、API/SQL等の実装基礎、そして非エンジニアにも伝わる説明力・提案力です。AI領域ではLLM・RAG・ベクトルDB等のアーキテクチャ理解が強みになります。
